To God Alone be the Glory!
Hosea 1:2 and 1 Corinthians 6:20
2. When the Lord began to speak by Hosea,
the Lord said to Hosea: "Go, take yourself a
wife of harlotry, and children of harlotry,
for the land has committed great harlotry
by departing from the Lord."
20. For you were bought with a price; therefore
glorify God in your body and in your spirit
which are God's.
Lately God has been speaking to me about the condition of the church today.
God has specific plans for every person that calls themselves a
Christian, and if
we do not seek after God and realize that we are His,
we become separated
from Him and quickly lose our way. We as the
church are the bride of Christ.
He is the head, and as I look around this
world today, and most especially in the
church, I can see that the words
God spoke to me are terribly true. Jesus' bride is
a harlot, or prostitute! Now I speak
in general, but we have lost sight of the truth of the Bible.
We can not
go around preaching about God's love, and mercy without telling the
church why we are in such bad need of it! We were bought for a price,
Christ's
blood, because we were no good God hating sinners with NO
OTHER WAY back!
That is what we need to be preaching. The church
needs to learn about the love
of God because they know that He saved
them from the pit of hell in spite of
their wickedness. If you spend more
time watching TV or on Facebook then you
do with God, then cast your
idols down and worship the King. I am not saying that doing fun things is
wrong, but if your heart goes to them before Christ, then I
fear that you may just burn with
those things. We have to love our spouse more than anything else.
Jesus
Christ gave His life for you! Live your life for Him. If you feel like this
message hurt your feelings a little, I want you to examine yourself. Are you truly
saved? When the fires of hell begin to rage behind you
standing before the throne
of God, are you going to be cast into them?
You don't have to be. You can repent
right now. That means to turn from your wicked ways, and do all in your power
to never go back
to them.
It does take time, and sometimes you will fail, but all
you have to do is never
give up trying, and God will help you to Him. You have to
take the first step. Will you love God, and follow Christ?
It starts with repentance.

Crushing Sin: We would like to lift up Joseph Gunther. this gentleman is in need of the delivering power of God. We pray that he be provided for.
Jason: I pray that the Lord delivers my cousin Maddy from the weights of the world. I pray that she find the comforting grace of the Lord, and is made whole in Spirit, mind, and body.
Jason: Pray for my daughter Dallas. Pray that God give her and her sisters strength to deal with her loss. Pray that God be with all of the Holcomb family during this time of loss, Lord give them strength.
